Flex version 8.12.0.0 introduces direct Bench-mode access for selected latest-generation Bosch MDG1 ECUs fitted to BMW and MINI vehicles. The ECU can remain physically closed while the required programming operations are performed through the pinout.
Supported ECUs can be connected directly in Bench mode without first opening the casing for Boot Glitch access.
Keeping the ECU closed avoids unnecessary case opening during the unlock and programming procedure.
Direct pinout access simplifies the workflow and reduces hands-on programming time for supported units.
