[Who Are We? | What We Do? ]

We’ve been established since 2019, delivering diagnostics-led calibration that fixes problems properly — not guesswork and part darts. Over the years we’ve completed 7,500+ services, and we now operate with a team of 4 specialists, each focused on a specific area (diagnostics, ECU calibration, gearbox/TCU, and cloning/coding). That means you get the right person for the job, faster diagnosis, and a better outcome. We specialise in diagnosing modern vehicle problems before replacing parts. Most faults today are not mechanical failures — they’re calculation conflicts inside the ECU. When airflow, fuel and emissions models disagree, the vehicle limits power, triggers warnings, or behaves unpredictably. Our approach is simple: measure first, calibrate second. Using live data and dealer-level tooling, we identify whether the issue is hardware or software related, then apply the correct solution. That may be a repair, a calibration correction, or optimisation for performance and economy — not every car needs tuning, but every car needs the right answer. We regularly resolve limp mode, DPF and AdBlue faults, gearbox behaviour issues and poor drivability where previous repairs have failed. The goal is reliability and predictable performance, not inflated dyno figures.

Meet Our Lead Engineer — Sohail

Sohail leads the technical side of Precision Remaps UK and specialises in the kind of work most garages avoid — ECU data recovery, failed programming recovery, and complex mobile diagnostics where multiple faults overlap.

With a background in electronics and network infrastructure, his strength isn’t just tuning — it’s understanding how control systems communicate. Modern vehicles don’t fail in a single place; they fail when modules disagree. Sohail focuses on restoring that agreement.

He regularly handles:
• Dead or corrupted ECUs after failed flashing
• Vehicles stuck in no-communication or immobilised states
• Water-damaged control units
• Multi-fault vehicles other garages have already attempted
• Mobile recovery jobs requiring on-site reconstruction rather than parts replacement

Instead of replacing modules, the goal is always recovery first — saving original data, coding, and vehicle identity wherever possible.

Outside diagnostics, Sohail is also our in-house performance driver. Real-world testing matters: calibration isn’t judged by dyno graphs alone, but by drivability, heat behaviour, shift logic and repeatability under load. That feedback loop shapes how our files are written.

At Precision Remaps UK, tuning isn’t guesswork — it’s controlled behaviour.
