Precision Remaps UK was established in 2019 with a diagnostics-first approach to modern vehicle calibration and fault finding. Since then, we’ve completed 7,500+ services and grown into a team of four specialists covering advanced diagnostics, ECU calibration, gearbox/TCU tuning, and ECU cloning and coding. This allows each job to be handled by the technician best suited to the vehicle and fault. We specialise in diagnosing modern vehicle problems before unnecessary parts are replaced. Many drivability and emissions faults involve more than a failed component alone — incorrect sensor data, airflow discrepancies, fuel-pressure issues, torque intervention, emissions-system faults and ECU control strategies can all produce warning lights, limp mode or poor performance. Our approach is simple: measure first, calibrate second. Using live data, manufacturer-level diagnostics and professional ECU programming equipment, we determine whether the cause is mechanical, electrical, software-related or a combination of factors. The correct solution may be a repair, coding procedure, ECU calibration correction or performance optimisation. We regularly diagnose and resolve limp mode, DPF and AdBlue/SCR faults, gearbox behaviour issues, ECU problems and poor drivability, including vehicles where previous repairs or parts replacement have failed to resolve the original complaint. Our objective is not exaggerated dyno figures or unnecessary modifications. It is accurate diagnosis, correctly engineered calibration and reliable, predictable vehicle performance.

Sohail leads the technical operations at Precision Remaps UK, specialising in advanced vehicle diagnostics, ECU data recovery, failed-programming recovery, cloning and complex electronic fault finding.

With a background in electronics and network infrastructure, his work extends beyond ECU calibration. Modern vehicles rely on interconnected control modules, communication networks, sensor data and calculated control strategies. When those systems no longer communicate or behave as expected, accurate diagnosis requires understanding the vehicle as a complete network rather than treating each fault code in isolation.

Sohail regularly handles:
